We provide additional support to students in realizing their dreams of participating in national and international sporting events.
The Athletic Booster Club at Wuerzburg University is an organization that creates opportunities to enhance the athletic experience for athletes through contributions to the University’s 18 sport programs and nearly 500 student-athletes competing in intercollegiate athletics at University of Wuerzburg. The Athletic Booster Club continues to be an active supporter of a wide range of athletic initiatives such as providing travel, equipment, and the funding of Athletic Banquets.
The Athletic Booster Club at Wuerzburg University takes great pride in supporting student athletes from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU), the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) and the University of Music Wuerzburg. The Wuerzburg area has a long, rich athletic tradition of rallying support for our students, which is made possible in part by your membership gift to the Athletic Booster Club.

Since the association's founding in 1995, we have supported university sports as a reliable partner. We spare no effort when it comes to tackling problems or realizing projects that enrich university sports positively and sustainably.
Philosophy and Approach
Every student and every team is important to us. When we consider it to be useful and necessary, we do our best to support our students regardless of the type of sport. For that we invest a great deal of our time and energy.
